STIPER

STIPER is crystallized silicon fibre, SiO2, and vegetable cellulose massed together. It has special features like being neutral and innocuous, due to the control of physical and environmental conditions during the crystallization process, taking care of the light and sound which give Stiper special qualities.

Disclaimer: The  STIPER  consists of a treated  Ordinary QUARTZ , without active ingredients or side effects, and everybody can use it,  The use of Stiper doesn’t exclude the medical or psychological treatment and never  replaces others ordinaries medical treatments.

The development of STIPER began in 1996, as a necessity: my wife as a therapist also dedicated to Acupuncture, and specialized in children’s treatments, wanted to replace needles, she noticed a fear in most of the children and also for other adult patients who have the same aversion to needles.

The Stiperpuncture scientific basis dates back to the end of the 19th century Germany, when a homoeopath, Dr. Auguste Weihe noticed that specific points related to a disease, had a painful reaction pressing on the body surface. The study and subsequent results were published in 1886.

Dr. De la Fuye, a student of Traditional Chinese Medicine, realised that 153 of the Weihe points coincided with acupuncture points. Then he used in parallel, traditional needles and a new tiny one similar to thumbtacks’, that he fixed to obtain a permanent stimulation, obtaining better results.

These facts, plus the fear related to needles in some patients, lead us to investigate and to find methods and techniques that would stimulate permanently have no application problems; now we’ve successfully been using the Stiper technique for the last 10 years.

We focused our investigation in all methods to make an effective non-invasive acupuncture, which led us to experiment with digit puncture, seeds, magnets, suction cups and small balls of clay, music therapy, and chromo therapy, mainly with gems and quartz.

We thought that quartz with behaviour similar to clay would be ideal, and we wanted quartz to have flexibility and a good plasticity. Therefore we mixed clay with quartz dust but it didn’t work.

It took 7 years to achieve spongy and absorbent quartz, which we have called STIPER. this way we have the advantages and properties of quartz and we can combine it with others therapies like chromo therapy or by adding a few drops of homeopathy, herbal medicine, Bach’s flowers or sound .This quartz with a texture similar to cotton, helped us to improve and exceed the disadvantages concerning too small of quartz crystals which were often irregularity and had sharp edges which were not comfortable and can produce small lesions.

The Stiper puncture is a therapeutic method we have used with children but also in others patients as a monotherapy, or to reinforce a session of acupuncture, massage …so we have increased the therapy that we had done, because as is known in China, Acupuncture is used every day but for European citizens this is not an option because they haven’t enough time to carry out the therapy daily.

The Stiper puncture is a method that assist people apply permanent stimulation and combine it with several therapies such as: Apitherapy - Apipuncture, Chromotherapy - Chromopuncture , Flower Essences   - Floral puncture, Fitotherapy   - Fitopuncture, Homeopathy - Homeopuncture, Reiki   - Reikipuncture,  Reflexology – Reflexopuncture,  Polarity Therapy – Polarpuncture

A comparative table which shows the effectiveness of an acupuncture session from the first day of treatment with a result of 7 on the scale of 0 to 10, and this efficiency decreases during the week ending with a 3 of effectiveness, that’s why we recommend repeating a second session 24h later to maintain effectiveness. We can also see the representation of an application of acupuncture combined with Stiper which will allow us to obtain a continued improvement of the therapy that we have done with more stable and uniform results.

USES

Stiper-therapy can be used in combination with applying a variety of natural remedies along with the Stiper in order to enhance & stimulate specific therapy being applied.

This includes Apitherapy products such as:

-Bee Venom Ointment (to help activate anti-inflammatory effect)

-Propolis tincture or extract (acts to fight infection, bacteria & viruses, etc.)

-Raw Honey (wound, scar, & burn healing, etc.)

-Bee Pollen (helps build up the immune system)

-Raw Royal Jelly (stimulate the hormonal glands)

HOW TO USE IT

First we have to select the appropriate acupuncture point; second we set the Stiper on the skin with small pieces of cut Stiper 2.5 x 3 cm. and will leave them from 1 to 6 days.

In sensitive areas like the face, we’ll leave it from 30 to 40 minutes, and we can reuse it again from 6 to 8 times using it only for singular use.

The renewal of the Stiper depends on the patients’ emotional load, because the quartz will be polluted as a higher level of unbalanced energies and external factors are present.

For example, when we are treating a physical pain, usually we will leave it fixed from 6 to 7 days but when the problem is related to anxiety or stress we recommend to replace it everyday at the beginning and space it when gets better (2 or 3 days).

Apply the Stiper directly to the skin except in some extreme cases where sensitive skin may show a slight irritation despite having used a hypoallergenic adhesive, and in this case we’ll put an adhesive paper or tissue between the skin and Stiper.

Apply the STIPER on acupuncture points; we’ll get the action specified for each item extending the circulation of Qi and blood, such as:

IR (infra-red) to treat disorders caused by excessive liver fire and emptied of Kidney Yang. It is very useful in clinical practice to treat the diseases in the cases of stagnation of Qi and Xue like the cold-dry and chronic diseases caused because pathogenic cold has penetrated deep.

Electric Moxibustion with STIPER

Put the STIPER in selected points fixing with adhesive, and then apply heat with a small 5W lamp, until the patient feels the heating.

You can get Moxibustion (Moxa) or thermotherapy, by conduction, convection, or radiation.

Thermotherapy by conduction consists on heating of body's organic tissues for therapeutic purposes through the application of system bodies on the skin or mucous membranes, without exceeding the limit of heat tolerance, usually reaching 42-43 º C up to 46 times - 48 º C. The action mechanism of this therapeutic technique is based on the vibration of the cells of the contacted tissues.

Thermotherapy by convection is the propagation of the heat by means of a liquid or gas through the translation movement of the particles.

Thermotherapy by radiation: is the heat's propagation without the need of a media, shaping an electromagnetic wave, which is called calorific or heat wave, through infrared ray.  Electromagnetic waves impinge on the cells increasing the vibratory movement and therefore the temperature.
